She is also a speaker, a certified coach, and an artist with an extensive background in both the performing and visual arts.
Laura found her love of dance and imagination at the age of four at Mrs. Hackney’s school of dance. She went on to pursue a career in the performing arts, beginning as a professional dancer. Later on she taught and choreographed throughout New England and New York City, toured nationally, and eventually ended up in Chicago, where she taught at the Academy for the Performing Arts, Roosevelt University, and Columbia College.
Following a career-ending knee injury, Laura turned her passion from the performing arts to the visual arts through photography. She is a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and an award winning photographer and mixed media artist. As Laura began to integrate her art and love of personal growth, she knew coaching and speaking would be a good fit. She is now a certified Life & Business Coach, a certified Personal Trainer, and a Motivational Speaker. In her own words: “Two of the most powerful tools I’ve learned on my journey are passion and imagination. I know how challenging life can be and how important it is to be inspired and supported.”
Laura believes we are each the artist of our own life. She loves to teach people to harness the power of their imagination and ignite their passion through coaching, speaking, and workshops. She feels privileged to witness and celebrate with clients as they discover and travel their unique road to personal fulfillment.
