Coaching is an interactive support system that helps you reach your goals, teaches you accountability, and guides you in understanding yourself and your process.
Each phone or Zoom session is 60 minutes long. In preparation for your session, you'll answer several questions to help clarify your thoughts. In our sessions, we'll work on identifying your goal and breaking it into small steps. We'll also examine your mindset, self-talk, and environment then identify any potential roadblocks. At the end of our conversation, you and I will agree on homework—several action steps for you to complete between sessions.

During our coaching sessions, we may delve into your emotional life. While most of this work can be effectively addressed within the coaching relationship, there may be instances where I suggest you seek additional support from a therapist or healthcare provider. Our sessions are confidential. What we discuss remains private.
In coaching, we deal with the present moment and what you want to accomplish in the future. We examine your behaviors and patterns and discuss how to modify those interfering with or stalling your progress. Though we may touch on your past, we will not spend time trying to heal the original incident(s) that created these patterns. If your interest is more in healing your past, therapy may be a better fit. Both therapy and coaching are powerful tools when used appropriately.
Some people see results immediately. Meeting with me weekly gives them an outside accountability that modifies their habits. For others, it takes longer. It depends on the complexity of your goals and your commitment and willingness to be open to the process. What you do between sessions is the most critical work. Here's why: it allows you to create momentum toward your goals, teaching you consistency through daily practice while shining a light on challenges you’d like to address in future sessions. Your commitment and follow-through to these assignments will be the key to creating your long-term success.
No. But I will have great tools that I will share with you, and I can also help you identify the skills you need to strengthen. The truth is, YOU have your answers. It's my job to listen—to hear between the lines for the root cause of the challenge you're currently facing, and then to reflect to you what I hear and see if it resonates. Together, we'll identify the area(s) that needs support and the tools to use. Coaching is a mirror that reflects what you're working on. It gives you a safe space to clarify your thoughts, feelings, and goals and practice new patterns and behaviors.
